Trekking Lavaderos de la Reina with Explora Güéjar Sierra

One of the wildest and natural environments of Sierra Nevada National Park.
The Queen washing place, origin of Maitena river, surrounded by vast green meadows, this place is famous for its beautiful waterfalls and snow tunnels in the melting season. Place of great environmental value where we can find many native and endemic species where the main protagonist is the water runs in all its aspects.
Within a high mountain environment where the absence of trees and large scree all together this environment is an oasis with its flora and fauna and will not leave you indifferent.
The route begins with the transfer to the vicinity of Piedra Partida Refuge (2450m altitude) where after a short walk we begin to contemplate the great oasis that stands before our eyes as if it were another world. Then we´ll do a circular route around his beautiful cirque and past beautiful waterfalls where you can refresh and admire Sierra Nevada`s great environmental wealth.
